In June 2014, Tim Noone travelled to Tugela Ferry, South Africa, to train a local team of carpenters to use donated wood working machinery. Tim is a highly trained professional fine furniture maker and so he was well qualified to provide the necessary month long training workshop.
The workshop is now producing, unaided, local quality furniture. This allows employment for three full-time workers. Regular employment allows the workers to provide food, shelter and education for their families.
